- Select the contract length you think is most appropriate for your needs. Any required adjustment in the Fee will be made at the end of the drafting process. We will clear with you before proceeding. If you overestimate the number of required pages, you will be refunded within 7 days of delivery of the final contract.

What is the delivery time?
Usually, the first draft of your document will be delivered within 72 hours of receiving payment for your selected service. Delivery of the final document will depend how quickly you get back to us with any changes you require. We can usually implement these within 24 hours.
Why do I need to get my contract reviewed?
Contracts contain hidden risks, unfavorable terms and legal pitfalls that can be easily missed and these can cost you thousands. With 30+ years’ experience, I can identify problematic clauses, liability exposure, and ambiguous language that could harm your business.
What risks am I exposed to without professional review?
Unlimited liability clauses, automatic renewals, one-sided termination rights, indemnification requirements, and governing law issues. These can lead to costly disputes, financial losses, and legal complications.
What will I receive after the review?
For the reviews, comments and recommended changes will be marked directly on the document. If you elect for a Report, you will also receive a detailed report on the findings and recommendations. We will also include an explanation of each clause and recommendations.

What's the difference between using a template and having a bespoke contract drafted?
Templates are generic and may not address your specific risks, industry requirements, or unique circumstances. Bespoke drafting ensures every clause is tailored to your situation, provides better legal protection, and addresses potential issues specific to your transaction. While templates cost less upfront, they can lead to horrendous conflicts when things go wrong and often result in expensive disputes later due to gaps or unsuitable terms.
Should I draft the contract first or let the other party do it?
Generally, it’s better to draft the initial contract as you can structure terms favorably, include your preferred dispute resolution mechanisms, and set the negotiation baseline. The party drafting usually has a strategic advantage in negotiations, though this should be balanced against costs and the other party’s expectations
What happens if the other party wants changes to the drafted contract?
We provide guidance on acceptable modifications that do not compromise your interests. We help you understand the implications of proposed changes and can assist with negotiating amendments to maintain protection of your interests.

A lot will depend on the complexity of the transaction, the quality and volume of documents that need to be reviewed and level of cooperation from the other party. For a proper due diligence, you should allow for 2-4 weeks. Accelerated reviews are possible but will increase costs.
What happens if due diligence reveals significant problems?
We provide a comprehensive report detailing all identified issues with risk ratings and recommended actions. Options typically include renegotiating the purchase price, requiring the seller to remedy issues before completion, obtaining warranties and indemnities, or in severe cases, withdrawing from the transaction entirely.
When should I engage you for contract negotiations?
Engage us before negotiations begin, especially for high-value transactions, complex terms, or unfamiliar contract types.
